For immediate release

The International des Feux Loto-Québec returns to the skies over La Ronde this summer.

The fireworks competition includes 6 competing countries and concludes with a tribute to Taylor Swift.

MONTREAL, Quebec — April 29, 2025 — La Ronde is proud to present the 39th edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec (IFLQ) in collaboration with Tim Hortons and Vidéotron, from June 26 to July 31, 2025.

This summer, the skies over Montreal will once again light up with dazzling fireworks displays, produced by some of the world’s greatest pyrotechnic artists in a colorful international competition. This year’s edition will feature six countries and two tribute evenings to open and close the festival.

“The International des Feux Loto-Québec is one of the highlights of the Montreal summer, both for La Ronde and its many loyal fans.” We are proud to present this 39th edition, which promises to be just as dazzling as the previous ones, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming visitors to share this unforgettable experience,” says Sophie Emond, President of La Ronde Park.

As tradition dictates, Quebecers and tourists will once again be able to enjoy front-row access to this eight-day summer event at the La Ronde site and experience its magic in person. The Quebec firm Laser-Quantum will also return this year to collaborate with the pyrotechnic teams to dazzle spectators by including 5 minutes of laser displays per show.

The International des Feux Loto-Québec kicks off on Thursday, June 26 with a colorful show on the theme Viva Latino, celebrating Latin music. The competition will then be officially launched: six world-renowned firms will attempt to enchant all age groups and win the industry’s most prestigious prize, the Golden Jupiter. This year, Italy, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, the United States and France will be taking part in the competition.

The event will close with a tribute to global icon Taylor Swift, with pyrotechnics soaring into the sky to the rhythm of her greatest hits.

A popular jury

The International des Feux Loto-Québec is looking for 19 fireworks enthusiasts to form this year’s jury. These individuals will have the enviable but important task of attending all the pyrotechnic presentations at La Ronde, evaluating the performance of each competing firm and ranking the six countries represented.
