Ride a Fairground Classic to Colossal Heights.
No matter how many times you’ve been to Six Flags St. Louis, and no matter how many giant coasters you’ve mastered, you’ll always have a special place in your heart for the classics. Come on down to the 1904 World’s Fair, where incredible memories are made on this timeless attraction: an enormous 180-foot tall Ferris wheel.
Climb into a gently rocking, covered gondola with room for your entire crew to join in. When the Ferris wheel starts to turn, you will slowly ascend to a beautiful view of the park 180 feet in the air. Colossus has been dazzling guests since it was introduced at the 1984 World’s Fair in New Orleans. That’s nearly three decades of the kind of magical experience that this park is all about.
Now it’s been beautifully restored and is ready to charm a whole new generation of riders. At 180 feet, you will rise high over the trees for an incredible view of the entire park, and miles in every direction.
And wait until you see it at night. There are nearly 2,200 lights that spin around the wheel like a dazzling display of stars.
