A Ride this Fast is Positively Hyper.
A few weeks ago a hole was found next to the entrance of Nitro.
It is said that, every now and then, something scrambles out of this hole and visits us. Huge, slimy tails whip through the night. Sharp points of red-forked fangs flash in the shadows. And, heaven help you, once it clamps onto your leg or creeps inside your jacket.
The creature was recently seen by one of our park watchmen, who described it as, “an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature…a pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque scaly body with rudimentary wings” before he burst into tears and began talking in gibberish (he said something like “Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn” right before he dropped dead. We have no idea what it means).
Over the last couple of weeks Six Flags has spent a significant amount of money to try to seal the hole. But the ability of this creature to dig his (or her) way out is staggering.
Guests riding Nitro are encouraged to keep a weather eye on the track ahead. Anyone who sees something up ahead with a gigantic, unkempt mouth with dozens of sharp pointy teeth should……pray for it to end quickly…
Minimum height requirement: 54″ to ride
For your safety, no loose articles including cell phones are permitted on Nitro. All loose articles must be secured in a button or zipped pocket, locker or with a non-rider.
